Job Scope:
PR
1. Business Partnership
-
Support a strong partnership with business clients/internal customers. With the TAM,remain aligned with current business issues and opportunities as related to talent acquisition.

Actively assist in the communication, alignment and implementation of talent related initiatives across the Division, in support of DFS business goals and strategic objectives,as directed by the TAM.
2. Talent Sourcing
-
Actively contribute to the design and implementation of talent sourcing activities to attract high calibre candidates for vacant positions, positively profile DFS in the labour market and meet potential future talent needs in line with company goals and objectives

Includes co-ordination and execution of hiring events, websites and outreach activities for branding such as community and education partnerships, career presentations, in partnership and as directed by the TAM.

Execution of approved external talent sourcing activities, including walk-in interviews
-
Career Fairs and Presentations planning in the Recruitment Calendar. Then assist to evaluate the effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.

Work with TAM and internal clients to develop or update position descriptions for approved vacancies and gain approval of talent profile in line with company talent strategy.

3. Talent Selection
-
Conduct prompt and accurate screening of front line applicants based on a high calibre talent profiles.

Ensure alignment between current candidate profiles and DFS talent objectives through the Quality Selection Process (QSP) profiling interviews.

Effectively support vendor relationships in partnership with the TAM, as related to talent selection.

Liaise with the TAM to ensure relevant managers are advised on the requisition and selection process.

Provide reports and updates on vacancies and candidates in progress at agreed frequency to relevant managers, as directed by the TAM. This includes the updating of all applicant’s data and details for the Employment Registration Card (ERC) promptly.
4. Talent Retention
-
Co-ordinate and conduct exit interviews and focus groups in volumes and frequencies as approved by the TAM.

Analyze and make recommendations on appropriate actions to the TAM.

Liaise with Talent Administration team to collate data to report on trends and ongoing issues.

Implement, execute and monitor outcomes of approved activities and strategies as directed by the TAM.
5. Processes
-
Support a recruitment process that allows talent recruitment, internal transfers, promotions and relocations to be handled efficiently, responding to business needs in a timely and effective manner, in collaboration with the TAM and Talent Administration team.

Collaborate with the TAM and Talent Administration team to ensure an effective and timely process.
-
This includes sourcing candidates, pre-screening applications, conducting screening interviews, referrals to line managers and all relevant vendors, candidate referencing and offer letter production.

Assist the TAM in the evaluation of the efficiency and effectiveness of processes and identifying issues. Implement, evaluate, and refine selection tools and processes with approval of TAM.

Analysis of recruitment data, candidate volumes, turnover and trends as directed.

Performing administrative duties and managing work permit applications for foreign talents in non-Management positions.

Collaborate with Talent Development team and location admin teams for efficient training schedules and new hires reporting
6. General
- Liaise with the TAM to actively support implementation and success of Division, Group and company-wide People related initiatives. Includes actively supporting LDP and Management Trainee through the prompt notification and liaison regarding vacancies, and identification and communication of opportunities to improve employee relations, productivity and retention.
- Ensure appropriate approvals have been obtained prior to incurring company expenses
- Monitoring of acquisition expenses and to ensure correct cost centre charging.
- Other projects and activities as approved by Division Talent Manager
Requirements:
-
Diploma in Business, Human Resources Management or related – preferred, not essential.
-
2 to 3 years experience in sales or service industry.
-
Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to sell and communicate with positivity, confidence and professionalism; an ability to interact with store management.
-
Excellent planning, prioritizing and organization skills are required.
-
High degree of initiative; must be able to work independently and be a self-starter.
-
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
