Job Scope:

Responsibilities:

• Process drug orders, dispense medications to patients and supply drug stocks to nursing unit
• Counsel patients on their medications
• Provide drug information to doctors, nurses and patients
• Assist in the preparation of ad-hoc items required on prescription orders
• Ensure all procedures conform to legal and hospital policy requirement
• Assist in the training and supervision of pharmacy assistant
• Perform quality assurance procedures such as ward inspections and expiry date checks as assigned
• Perform other medication-therapy related duties, such as supply and distribution of controlled drugs

 Requirements:

• Degree in Pharmacy

• Registered with the Singapore Pharmacy Council
