Responsible for upkeep and maintenance of the hospital and equipment
Plan, organise and control all preventive maintenance programmes and schedules to ensure patient care and comfort are preserved at all times while optimising all physical plant equipment
Determine major physical plant equipment and infrastructure items required for addition and renewal within the hospital complex, review budgetary quotes and capital equipment requests
Prepare capital and operating budgets for effective and efficient plant maintenance operations
Manage vendors and sub-contractors for all plant operations works including purchasing of equipment and review of cost measures
Supervise implementation of fire and safety precautions and procedures in the capacity of a Fire Safety Manager
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent with experience in a recognised institution
Minimum 5 years experience in a similar work environment
Good technical knowledge in maintenance of air-conditioning units, electrical installations, plumbing and sanitary systems
Working Hours: Mon-Fri, 0830-1800
