Job Purpose:
Roles and Responsibilities:

To provide administrative and operational support to the rest of the department

To help in the coordination, planning and scheduling of meetings and events for the Medical Advisory Board (MAB), its standing committees, and the various specialty interest groups (SIGs) organized under it
-
To assist the managerial staff in attending to phone enquiries and correspondence (via letter or email) from hospital management and / or accredited doctors on matters related to medical staff organisation

To disseminate notifications and correspondence via any means of communication (e.g. phone, fax, email, Internet/Intranet) to accredited doctors, as well as other members of the medical staff organisation as and when required

To perform data entry tasks and upkeep the files, records, and databases pertaining to accredited doctors, as well as other members of the medical staff organisation as and when required

To maintain and provide oversight on the records uploaded and maintained by Medical Affairs on the Intranet, including but not limited to accreditation lists, lists of clinical privileges, etc..

To organize the scheduling of the A&E on-call roster

To maintain the confidentiality of data residing with the department

To perform any other tasks assigned by superiors
