To be in charge of the operations of a western kitchen
Lead; direct; train; supervise and ensure sound coordination of activities of the kitchen team including cooks/kitchen helpers etc in food preparation; hygiene and food standards within the kitchen
Overall in charge of staff deployment (roster scheduling); stock & inventory monitoring/ordering; kitchen hygiene & food safety standard compliance; kitchen equipments maintenance and procurement; smooth operations of the kitchen in all aspects
Working Hours: Rotating Shift
Requirements:
Minimum Diploma in Oriental &/or Western Culinary Skills or equivalent
Minimum 5 years of culinary experience specializing in both oriental and western cuisine, preferably in a supervisory or managerial role with sound knowledge of leading teams
Competent in MS Excel & Outlook for roster scheduling
Good interpersonal & communication skills, must be able to interact with all levels of staff/management team
Bilingual (both spoken and written)
Available immediately or within short notice
